The candidate should have at least two year’s experience developing
Web-based applications using PHP/MySQL and working as part of a team.
They should be extremely proficient implementing page layouts using
hand-coded HTML and CSS.
The candidate should be feel comfortable getting to grips with large
systems quickly and have strong analytical skills. They should also
be capable of taking project specifications and developing sites/components
to tight deadlines and high quality standards.
The candidate should have strong programming skills ideally with
a background in C/C++ and OOP.
The ideal candidate will also have experience working and developing
on Linux/UNIX environments.

You will need to have a third level IT qualification, 6 years + experience
in the workplace which would be combination of project management,
business analysis and QA skills.

development group with an excellent track record in new product development.
Customer demands are requiring the seamless integration of their
products & technologies into their corporate networks and IT platforms.
And as a result they are now seeking to appoint an Embedded Design
Engineer to add to their highly motivated team developing their range
of next generation products.
The following skills are essential:
Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years post graduate experience in microprocessor embedded software
development.
·Strong embedded hardware design experience including microprocessor
research and design
·High speed 32-bit microprocessor design experience in the
area of telecommunication and control systems, an advantage.
ARM or PPC development experience.
Knowledge of international standards and regulations in the electronic
industry. (ISO / CE / FCC)
Experience with DFM (design for manufacturing)
Experience with DFT (design for test)
Strong embedded firmware skills in Assembler, C, C++, Java.
Expert skills in “C” firmware development.
Control system design
RTOS experience
DSP experience
Experience with JTAG debugging.
Good knowledge of the following technologies essential
Networking – Expert skills required in the area of TCP/IP development
at the protocol level.
Telecommunication – PSTN, GSM,GPRS, CDMA, 3G
Digital Audio / Video compression and communication technologies.
MPEG at protocol level.
High speed data communication and experience with communication protocols,
TCP/IP, RS232, RS485 etc.
The following skills are desirable:
Knowledge of Security, Access Control, Video or Building automation.
